WAM: Warriors and Makers

Join Women and Mentoring (WAM) at our inaugural Warriors and Makers afternoon tea, an opportunity to acknowledge the visionaries, supporters and inspiration to the WAM family (the WAMily). 

WAM supports women and non-binary people facing criminal charges, at risk of offending or in contact with the legal system and are identified as needing additional support to improve their outcomes by matching them individually with a supportive mentor. This will provide them with a pathway to develop and use positive life skills. 

So, who are these wonderful legends who started the process of this ground-breaking programme?  Who were the pioneers, who were the visionaries who believed that a simple support system and human interaction could be the key to keeping women out of the legal system and reducing the recidivism rate?
