Warriors & Makers 2026: Changing the Narrative

Join us on Wednesday 7 October, 5.30–8.00pm for an evening of celebration, connection and inspiration.

This year, we’ll welcome a new Warrior & Maker into the Honour Roll, recognising their courage, creativity and leadership in driving change.

We’ll also hear from a powerful panel of lived experience experts, facilitated by Zoe Daniel, former Independent MP, journalist and Independent Chair of Mental Health Victoria. Together, they’ll explore how we can change the narrative around women who have experienced the justice system - challenging stigma, shifting perceptions and creating a different vision for what’s possible.

Guests will also hear updates from the previous recipients of the Ann Polis Empowerment Fund, showcasing the impact of creating opportunities for women and non-binary people to build more positive futures away from the justice system.

The evening will feature an auction of fabulous hampers and unique items, with all proceeds going directly to the Ann Polis Empowerment Fund.
