Deva Premal & Miten Return to Australia in October 2026

for Their First National Visit in Six Years

Deva and Miten are happy to be returning to the region for the first time in over a decade to offer the Australian Gayatri Weekend Gathering. All are welcome. Participants will gather to sing their prayers and spend time with the Gayatri Mantra, an ancient prayer dedicated to the light of consciousness.

The weekend further includes an exclusive concert on Saturday evening, open to all retreat participants.

Weekend format

The days will feature morning sessions of ecstatic chant, with a deep dive into the Gayatri Mantra through music, meditation and communal sacred song. Further meditations will be available during the afternoon sessions, and in the evening the group will gather again for ecstatic chant, preparing for rest, integration and renewal.

Meals & Catering

All food will be available on site for purchase and will be vegan and certified organic.

We are happy to be returning to the Byron Shire for the first time in over 6 years, to offer The Australian Gayatri Weekend Gathering. The Gathering will take place at The Mullumbimby Civic Memorial Hall, Mullumbimby, Byron Shire, on Sat 31st Oct / Sun 1st Nov 2026.
