Terry Jarvis Watercolour Workshop Two Day Workshop
Description
Two Days of Watercolour with Terry Jarvis
Join acclaimed Australian watercolour artist Terry Jarvis for an inspiring two-day workshop hosted by the Wangaratta Artists Society Inc.
Known for his expressive, light-filled watercolours and relaxed, encouraging approach to teaching, Terry has a wonderful ability to help artists loosen up, simplify what they see and paint with greater confidence.
Across the two days, Terry will share his approach to creating fresh and atmospheric watercolours, exploring light, colour, composition, tonal values, washes and expressive brushwork. Through demonstrations, practical exercises and individual guidance, participants will have the opportunity to watch Terry’s process, ask questions and then put those techniques into practice in their own paintings.
This workshop is suitable for beginners through to advanced artists. You don't need to paint like Terry — the emphasis is on learning from his techniques and developing greater confidence in your own approach to watercolour.
Whether you're looking to loosen up your brushwork, improve your understanding of watercolour, breathe more life into your paintings or simply spend two creative days learning alongside other artists, this promises to be a fantastic weekend at The Studio.
