    Thanks to the Federal Government’s Future Drought Fund National Program, MADE is proud to partner with soil health expert Graeme Sait, Nutri-Tech Solutions and other leaders to help farmers take their understanding of soil health, plant management and profitability to the next level.

    Workshop topics:

    • Improving yields during and after drought
    • Using soil microbes to improve productivity
    • Perfecting inputs to reduce costs, maintain yield and increase profits
    • Managing farm organic waste while generating renewable energy and fertilisers
    • Latest research and international examples of farming innovation

    What you get:

    The aim of the initiative is to run a 2 day training & learning workshop, that focus on building drought resilience and understanding soil test results by using handheld devices to see what’s happening in your crops and soil. There will also be trials of precision agricultural tools that help manage yields, inputs and disease over the course of the cereal growing season.

    • 2 day workshops/training sessions held on the 7th & 8th August 2024 which will vary from theory to practical experiences
    • You’ll learn more about soil and plant health plus how the latest precision ag might be able to help you improve farming practises.
    • Learn practical tips and tricks that will reduce production costs.
    • Learn about what a soil test is really telling you in an understandable way.
    • Direct access to the knowledge and expertise of leaders in soil & plant health, pathogen management, soil health/biology valued, at over $5,000 per person.
    • Answers to your specific concerns about crop and soil issues.
    • Access to accurate handheld precision technology for immediate testing of plant & soil health, nutrient levels etc.
    • Opportunity to visit demonstration ‘wheat’ trials to see alternative bio-fertilisers in practise in different soil conditions.
