Featuring a diverse range of films and documentaries that look for holistic view, creative solutions, inspiring storytelling and the interconnectedness of ecological, social and economic systems. Our aim with the festival is to empower and inspire the audience to create change in their lives, communities, and organisations.

As a volunteer-led organisation, we will do our utmost to ensure that the Wao Film Festival is delivered to a high standard. Please have patience with us if the situation does change as you can be sure we will be doing our best in the background to get things sorted. If you hold a ticket for an event that is cancelled, changed or postponed we will do our best to offer you an alternative choice or you will be offered a refund on your ticket. If you have to cancel for any personal reasons, please email us and we’ll try to find a solution.
