Please join us for the WAPR Australia AGM 2026, commencing with a presentation from the Australian Psychosocial Alliance.

NDIS Reforms for people with psychosocial disability: How can we influence the impact and future direction?

Our Guest Speakers will be:

Nicola Ballenden, Executive Director of Strategy, Engagement and Housing Transformation, Mind Australia

Kate Paterson, Policy and Engagement Advisor, Australian Psychosocial Alliance

Nicola and Kate will present their analysis of the NDIS reforms, why they are going wrong for people with psychosocial disability and what the impact will be on people with disability, their carers and kin and the broader health and mental health systems.

They will also outline the work that the Australian Psychosocial Alliance (APA) is doing to try to influence the trajectory of the reform and what others in the sector can do to make their concerns heard.
