What was the music that set pulses racing, that gave access to new depths of emotion, and helped to change music forever? Hear the genius of the first Romantic generation, in trios by Beethoven, Schubert and Mendelssohn. The West Australian Piano Trio return to the Ballroom in this uplifting programme, joined by young special guests who will open the concert with another movement of Mendelssohn. String Theory won the Most Outstanding Performance prize at the North of Perth Eisteddfod, and are now coached by Michael Goldschlager. We're happy to welcome Paula Krause, Jenny Yuan and Mike Jin!
