Scientist, entrepreneur, and medtech innovator with a PhD in Nanotechnology and Neuroscience. Former CTO of a global biosensor startup, Michael is passionate about turning cutting-edge technology into real-world solutions and sharing the lessons of the medtech journey.
Iain C. McIntyre
Experienced medtech entrepreneur and ecosystem connector, Iain has spent years supporting founders, investors, and innovators across biotech and medtech. Passionate about sharing real-world lessons from medtech journeys, he brings energy, insight, and practical advice to every conversation.
Sam Lanyon
A business professional with hands-on leadership experience in innovation-driven organisations, where ideas don’t stay ideas for long. Skilled in sales, business development, project delivery, and new product development, with a strong focus on turning concepts into commercial reality.
Dr Josephine Muir
Josephine is CEO and co-founder of Noisy Guts, an award-winning Australian Medtech startup that pivoted into an award-winning e-commerce business. She previously served as Associate Director of the Marshall Centre for Infectious Diseases, working alongside Nobel Laureate Prof Barry Marshall. Josephine has secured private investment, led $10M in grant funding, and is passionate about gut health and female founders.
Dr Greg Roger
Dr Greg Roger completed his medical degree then Masters of Engineering at Sydney University, acquiring a history of medical device innovation including the highly successful Active Knee prosthesis (implanted since 1992 in Australia, USA, UK, Europe and Asia) and the RCI Screw for ACL Reconstruction, in use world-wide. Appointed Hon. Prof. of Bioengineering at Sydney University and Professor of Practice at UNSW, and he has received numerous awards, including the 2004 Clunies Ross Award. Dr Roger works on medical device design commercialisation, helping inventors in the field of medical device innovation. Dr Roger holds numerous patents and has published widely in peer reviewed literature.
