Warm Data Lab Experience at Bay State Cohousing
Event description
“How do we think our way through the messes we’re in when the way we think is part of the mess?” – Nora Bateson (Originator of Warm Data Labs)
Come join us in the warmth of the Bay State Cohousing community to experience a Warm Data Lab amidst this historical time when everything feels unpredictable and uncertain. How do we live in these complex times? Weaving is a potent option.
What is a Warm Data Lab?
They are like an after-dinner conversation that continues into the evening with people you may have never met. Participants share their stories and observations about a common question and move between small groups and inside conversations to explore their perspectives from other viewpoints such as family, health, economy, and others. Everyone moves whenever and wherever their curiosity takes them, listening to each other and often sharing whatever occurs to them. We then come back together and combine what we’ve noticed as we gathered and explored.
These Warm Data Lab experiences have been described as a “kaleidoscope of conversation,” packed with enriching stories, laughter, and insight. The experience may nourish the soul, transform our approach to work, life, and community, and ultimately, create space for new relationships to flourish. They may even plant new seeds for community projects to renew and revitalize community life.
How do I prepare?
No preparation is necessary. Bring your curiosity, open mind, open heart, and a friend. English will be the shared language during our conversations.
