Warm Mids Afternoon - Andrew Tuttle (QLD), Anna Morley, Handclap
Description
Spring is here in Naarm/Melbourne. The flowers are in bloom, the trees are covered in leaves and the city is perking up after a long, dark winter.
Come and spend the afternoon in the spectacular, heritage listed Norla Dome at the Mission to Seafarers, Naarm/Melbourne at this little festival celebrating beautiful, dreamy music.
Warm Mids Afternoon is a chance to experience music in a way that feels more like a waking dream than a night out. This isn't your standard gig. No stiff-backed seats, no standing awkwardly with a drink in your hand. We want you to sink in, spread out, and get truly horizontal if the mood takes you. Bring cushions, blankets, pillows, a book or a craft project. Build yourself a little nest and let the music carry you somewhere soft and far away.
Doors 2pm, Music from 2:30pm
Norla Dome, The Mission to Seafarers, Naarm/Melbourne

Introducing the artists behind the soundtrack to your afternoon:
Andrew Tuttle
Andrew Tuttle, of Brisbane/Magandjin, dwells in a between world where the five-string banjo sits serenely and purposefully with shimmering waves of decay, reverberation and processed electronics. Holding a space that is abundant and generous, Tuttle makes outsider music that turns its listeners into insiders — beckoning a journey which unfolds many heart-opening moments. Tuttle has released five solo studio albums and collaborated on albums with artists including SUSS, Michael Chapman, Darren Cross and Mike Cooper on labels including Room40, Mistletone, Basin Rock and Longform Editions.
