    Event description

Seniors Rights Victoria, COTA Victoria, Housing for the Aged Action Group, and the City of Melbourne cordially invite you to the Warm Safe Home project campaign launch and exhibition, taking place as part of our larger World Elder Abuse Awareness Day program.

Opened by The Deputy Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Nicholas Reece, the event will be hosted by COTA Victoria board member and the former Ambassador for Elder Abuse Prevention, Gerard Mansour.

The Victorian Minister for Ageing, The Honourable Ingrid Stitt, will officially launch the Warm Safe Home program itself, also activating an online exhibition of Warm Safe Homes made all throughout Victoria.

The event will feature further discussion from HAAG CEO Fiona York, Seniors Rights Victoria Acting CEO Ben Rogers, and Homes Melbourne Director Jo Cannington. It concludes with an all-important discussion on elder abuse between Warm Same Home program participants.

We invite you to arrive from 9.30 am for a prompt start at 10.00 am.
