Event description

An invitation to a candlelit afternoon, of inner warmth, Qi Gong flow guidance and restorative meditation. All under the powerful Astrological aspect of Jupiter Trine Pluto. A time for empowered thought, activation and expansion.  The perfect alignment to become aware of our beings as a meaningful conduit of energy.

Qi means ‘life force energy’ and Gong means ‘skill’, so the practice of Qigong focuses on nourishing our life force and developing a refined skill to feel our energy systems.

Using awareness-based movement, intention, breath, self massage and visualisation, Qigong is renowned for its many benefits to the body, mind and spirit

During our Warm Welcome to Winter, together, we will gently move through soothing seasonal Qi Gong flows. Focusing on supporting our meridians and comforting our Kidney Qi for the hibernation of Winter. We will also enhance our Wei Qi - our protective immune and energy shield, surrounding our being, through movement and awareness.

Then, feeling tranquil, open and centred, we shall melt into a blissful guided meditation to fill our inner fire, keeping our furness alight and empowered.

Towards the end of the meditation I will also be using sound vibrations ( singing bowls, chimes, toning) to infuse our cells with high frequency and enhance our vibratory state of being.

As we herald the beginning of Winter, we are invited to become ever more present with our internal world. We are encouraged to conserve our energy, nourish our Qi and rest deep into our bones. Allowing ourselves the permission to honour the quiet, the stillness and listen to our intuitive inner knowing.

“ In winter everything lies dormant in the silent earth, it is a sacred time of rest and reflection before the awakening and the slow build toward brighter days.

The energy of winter is that of going within. It's the fruitful darkness and silence out of which our soul's yearnings and new inspirations can eventually emerge.  As we consciously link our awareness to nature's cycles, our understanding of our own personal growth cycles begin to deepen."

Join me, on Sunday 2nd June to ease into this Winter season with reverence, nourishment and peace.
