Warragamba Community Information and Feedback Session - Western Sydney International Airport Flight Paths
Event description
Following feedback received on the preliminary flight paths for Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport draft Environmental Impact Statement, the Australian Government is consulting your community on two flight path proposals for the airport. These are:
- revised flight paths for jets travelling east from the airport at night.
- a new noise abatement procedure for overnight aircraft.
These proposals may impact your area.
You are invited to attend this community information and feedback session to find out more and have your say.
The final preliminary flight paths will be in the final Environmental Impact Statement due to be released in late 2024.

The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts (the department) is collecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.
The department will use your personal information for the purposes of managing attendance at the Community Information and Feedback Session for the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport flight paths.
The department may also use your personal information for contact regarding updates to the preliminary flight paths, if you elect to be contacted for this project.
The department may disclose your information to the department’s contractor WSP Australia Pty Ltd to assist the department manage attendance at the Community Information and Feedback Sessions.
The department will not otherwise use or disclose your personal information except as authorised by law.
You are not compelled by law to provide your personal information however if you do not then you cannot register for attendance to the Community Information and Feedback Session. Please note, however, that registration is not required for you to be able to attend the Community Information and Feedback Session.
The department will store your personal information securely and the department’s privacy policy contains information regarding complaint handling processes and how to access and/or seek correction of personal information held by the Department.
