Warren Miller's SNO-ciety

Warren Miller Entertainment returns to Taupō with SNO-CIETY, the latest film from the world’s longest-running snow film series. This special screening in-store at Gordon's Outdoor Equipment, Taupō with the help of Whakapapa ski area aims to bring winter culture, community, and connection together. All proceeds from ticket sales for this screening will go to SARDA NZ.

More than a ski film, SNO-CIETY explores the culture that surrounds winter. Spanning iconic mountain regions and unexpected urban landscapes, the film reflects the many ways people connect to snow—whether through lifelong traditions, local hills, or shared moments that keep drawing us back each season.

From the Scottish Highlands and the streets of Finland to the back bowls of British Columbia and a local hill transformed into a terrain park in downtown Denver, SNO-CIETY presents winter as a shared experience shaped by people, place, and community. Featuring stories from Olympians, urban riders, and local legends—including Freeride World Tour athlete Britta Winans—the film highlights winter not as a performance, but as a culture built on connection.
