Warrnambool Wheelie Convoy
Event description
Calling all community members who use a ‘wheeled walker’, wheelchair, mobility scooter or trike to join us in the first ever Warrnambool ‘Wheelie Convoy’. The full course for the convoy will start in front of the Pavilion cafe & bar, with the short course starting from the Worm bay car park. Both groups will proceed at walking pace along the Warrnambool Foreshore Promenade finishing the convoy at McGennans Car Park.
Join us for a free BBQ lunch after the Convoy at Lake Pertobe, as well as live music, guest speakers and spot prizes for best decorated hat and scooter/wheelchair/walker.
It will be a fun day out and a warm up for an attempt at the Australian record for the longest mobility scooter convoy record, which currently stands at 170 mobility scooters and wheelchairs.
