The WA Social Enterprise Awards are back - and this year it's even bigger and better!

Western Australia has a social enterprise sector worth backing. Enterprises creating real jobs, building stronger communities, and going head-on at some of our most entrenched challenges - homelessness, domestic violence, childhood poverty, environmental impact. The awards exist to put them in the spotlight they deserve.

This year we're doing it in style. On Thursday 13 August, we're taking over The Westin Perth for a night that's equal parts celebration, connection, and conviction.

This night brings together the full social impact ecosystem - entrepreneurs, government leaders, universities, community partners, funders, and the allies and champions who show up every single day.

The 2026 Award Categories

WA Social Enterprise of the Year - Recognising an established enterprise that has achieved exceptional impact and measurable outcomes that benefit the community.
Emerging Social Enterprise - Celebrating an enterprise in its early stages that has demonstrated strong potential for positive community impact and growth.
Regional Impact Award - Recognising a social enterprise making a significant, positive difference in regional, rural, or remote Western Australia.
First Nations Social Enterprise - Recognising a social enterprise making a significant, positive difference for First Nations people, culture, and Country.
Above and Beyond Award - Recognising an inspirational individual who goes the extra mile to enable growth and collaboration in WA's social enterprise sector

Event details

Date: Thursday 13 August 2026

Venue: The Westin, 480 Hay Street, Perth

Time: 5.30pm start for pre-dinner drinks and networking. Event finishes at 10.30pm

Dress: Glam for Good - cocktail or lounge suit, with permission to bring the sparkle

Your ticket includes a pre-event drinks reception, three-course dinner, and free-flow drinks. Sales close Sunday August 2nd.
