Washing Machine Disco Club & Yakka join forces for an open-air autumn dance party in Port Kembla - Saturday May 25th.
We’re thrilled to welcome REENIE to the Washing Machine stage. An Eora local, REENIE has been a permanent fixture around the city in recent times, having warmed the dance-floor for the likes of Todd Terje, Soichi Terada and The Presets, not to mention her own all-night solo sets at Club 77. A drummer, FBi radio presenter and avid record collector, REENIE has the musical knowledge and vinyl skills to go the distance.
WASHING MACHINE DJS will be laying down the deep disco vibes as always, as well as the Illawarra’s hottest new DJ duo, MOODY GURLZ, keeping it all vinyl, all quality.
Port Kembla’s favourite independent bottle-0, Yakka, will be on bar duties, with natural wines and decent beers on offer well into the evening, plus Port Beirut serving up their delicious Lebanese fare.
Running from 2pm – 11pm in the Port Beirut courtyard, this event is kid, dog and disco friendly. All welcome. Come for a drink and something to eat, stay a little longer and dance yourself clean in the washing machine. Limited tickets available.
