An art exhibition that will change the way you look at waste!
This event showcases all the artwork from this year's Selwyn Schools' Waste Art Competition. The exhibits will be open for free viewing at Te Ara Ātea from 10 am on Saturday, September 13th, until after the awards ceremony on Sunday, September 14th at 2 pm.
We are honoured to have Deputy Mayor Malcolm Lyall join us to present the awards, recognising the talents of our student artists who have transformed waste into exceptional artworks.

Public Exhibition: The exhibits will be open for free viewing from 10 am on Saturday, September 13th, until after the awards ceremony on Sunday, September 14th.
Awards Ceremony: Join us on Sunday, September 14th, at 2 pm for the awards presentation.
Venue: Te Ara Ātea, Rolleston.
This inspiring competition, launched in 2021, has received an outstanding response of an exceptional standard. Each piece tells a story of transformation and offers insight into different views on household waste.
We invite all to view this collection of art over the weekend (No RSVP needed). Your attendance supports an event that redefines waste and prompts us to consider our impact on the world around us.
