Event description

🌿 A part of Kingston Neighbourhood House’s Sustainable Neighbourhood Project 🌿

We’re so excited to invite you to our series of hands-on workshops all about sustainable living—designed for everyone, no matter where you're at on your journey. Just getting started and not sure where to begin? Busy juggling life but keen to do a little more? Or maybe you’ve been living sustainably for years and want to connect and share your passion?

You’re all welcome here.

These series of workshops are all about learning new skills, sparking inspiration, and feeling good about your own unique, perfectly imperfect journey. You don’t need to be perfect—just curious, open, and willing to give it a go!

Let’s learn, share, and grow together 🌱

This workshop is designed for adults (18+ years)

What to expect:

  • ♻️ A Waste-Wise Conversation! ♻️ (Without the Guilt)

Come join us for a casual conversation facilitated by sustainability changemaker Milca Perez, founder of Malva, about something that touches all of us: waste. Not the “you-have-to-be-zero-waste-perfect” kind—instead this gathering is for people who care, but also juggle busy lives, budgets, and maybe even a bit of overwhelm.

🎁 Bonus: Every ticket includes a FREE copy of WASTE NOT book writing by Erin Rhoads* to keep the inspiration going long after the conversation ends!

Booking essential – limited to 8 places. No refund or book delivery after absence. If you cannot attend, contact Samara at samara@kingstonnh.org.au or on (03) 6229 4066 to pass your booking on.

🎟️️ Waiting list available

*Erin Rhoads is a regular on ABC Radio. She has appeared on BBC World, The Project, Sunrise, The Age, The Guardian, The Australian Women's Weekly, Marie Claire, Peppermint magazine, and many other media outlets. Zero Waste and sustainable living is her passion.
