Event description

Join us in the Coventry Room for the official opening for Waste to Art 2022.

All are welcome. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

WASTE 2 ART Community Art Competition and Exhibition 

WASTE 2 ART is a waste inspired art competition and exhibition that celebrates the reuse and recycling of waste in Parkes, and the wider Netwaste Region. 

There's a category for every member of the community from preschool students through to aspiring and professional artists and each year there's a waste theme to guide your creations. This year the theme was Soft Plastics.

The focus of Waste 2 Art is to challenge the way we look at waste and entries should incorporate some element of recycling by including waste items.
