Join Hidden Harvest at local sustainable gin bar, Births & Deaths, for a unique dining experience: A three-course dinner paired with a curated cocktail, created almost entirely from produce that would have gone to waste.
Did you know that if food waste were a country, it would be the third largest emitter of greenhouse gases? Wasted Wednesday let's you taste what all the fuss is about!
Each month, the Hidden Harvest chefs jump in the kitchen to whip up ~20kg of would-be wasted food into a beautiful community dinner. The produce we use was destined for the bin due to aesthetics, freshness or excessive quantities.
We also provide the Births & Deaths team with a tray of rescued fruit for them to work their magic on. The B&D team pride themselves on the sustainable practices utilised behind the bar in the creation of their cocktails.
Your ticket includes three courses of tasty treats, plus a cocktail upon arrival that has been specially developed by the B&D team for this evening. The full drinks menu will also be available, with their usual prices.
We happily cater for most diets if given notice. Please let us know you & your guests' dietary requirements when purchasing your tickets.
