Event description

Join the WasteSorted Schools team to start planning your school's waste avoidance and resource recovery projects for 2026!

This workshop will include:

  • Information about becoming an accredited WasteSorted School

  • Examples of best practice waste infrastructure in schools

  • WasteSorted Schools resources (curriculum, toolkits, fact sheets, etc)

  • Activities to help you update your waste and recycling policy and yearly planner

  • Hands-on activities

The workshop is suitable for school staff including teachers, principals, EAs, administration staff, gardeners and parents.

The workshop is FREE and teacher relief payments are available for two staff from each school.
