WasteSorted Schools plastics & organics workshop - Geraldton

Join the team from WasteSorted Schools and get inspired to avoid and divert our plastic and organic waste in school settings.

This workshop will include:

• An overview of the WasteSorted Schools Program - its resources & support available 
• Ways to change student behaviours in regional settings
• plastic-free teaching resources and activities into Primary & Secondary curriculum
  
• Participation in hands-on activities to close the loop on food waste
• Hear from Guest speakers about setting up school recycle hubs and embedding Containers 4 Change

It is recommended that you complete the WasteSorted Schools online learning module prior to attending this workshop: Home – WasteSorted Schools (wssonlinelearning.wa.gov.au)

This workshop is suitable for school staff including teachers, principals, administration staff, gardeners, canteen staff and parents.

The workshop is FREE and teacher relief payments are available for two staff from each school.
