Join us for an informative session all about the whales that pass through our local waters alongside the dolphin species that call our Mornington Peninsula home! Whether you’re a seasoned spotter or new to the world of whale watching, this event will share science-based knowledge on local cetacean species and explain how you can see them responsibly.
Bring your own binoculars—we’ll show you how to use them like a pro!
You’ll learn what to look for, where to look, and how weather, sea state, and wind conditions can affect your chances of spotting these spectacular marine mammals. We’ll also explore what makes a great whale-watching location, from lookouts to whale-watching trails.
