Waterfalls of paint. Wave-powered organs. Streams of stone.
Join a curator for a dive into some curious and sublime ways in which water is conjured and transformed in the visual, sound and land arts.
Featuring examples from Japan, Croatia, the United States and Australia, this talk will invite the audience to think about how artists convert or create illusions of water in innovative ways that draw people in to have profound experiences of nature or of art depicting nature.
This event will be presented in the serene, stunning atmosphere of the Museum of Economic Botany located in the heart of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens.

About the presenter:
Emily Mimpi is a curator who engages in creative, artistic interpretation and activation of objects, places and spaces with visual and sound arts. She has a special interest in artworks in the landscape, landscapes as art, and all things botanical.
