Join us for a transformative 3-day wellness retreat designed to heal and rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit. 

Combining the ancient practices of water fasting, sauna detox, yoga, meditation, essential oils, and breathwork, this immersive experience is set against the tranquil backdrop of Raglan's beautiful beaches.

You’ll enjoy gentle yoga flows, breathwork sessions, ocean dips, and fireside meditations under the full moon, all while receiving personalised support from a Registered Naturopath and Registered nurse to ensure your health and wellbeing throughout.

Below, you’ll find essential information about the retreat, including the daily schedule, and what to expect!

What to Expect:
Over the course of three days, we’ll guide you through a holistic wellness journey focused on healing from within. Combining water fasting, gentle yoga, meditative practices, and guided Breathwork, this retreat is designed to help you detox, relax, and reconnect with your inner self.

During the fast there will be copper water dispenser to add healing minerals to your water. If you prefer you can also include some non sweetened herbal teas provided. The fast length can be 48 hours or 72 hours depending on what level you want to go. More information on the fasting will be sent prior to the weekend, but please feel free to call if any questions on undertaking a water fast.  

Throughout the weekend, you'll enjoy the benefits of:

1:1 Mini Holistic Health assessment by Registered Naturopath and Registered Nurse 

Retreat Timetable:
Day 1 – Friday, November 15
3:30 PM – Check-in

4 pm Welcome Circle
Set intentions
1:1 mini health assessment (medical history, blood pressure, and naturopathic assessment)
4:00 PM – Settling in
4:30 PM – Gentle Vinyasa Flow Yoga (at the beach)
5:30 PM – Sauna session

Evening Options: Relax with a Holistic Health movie in the accommodation's' own movie theatre,  or enjoy an early night
Medical guidance on starting your water fast

Day 2 – Saturday, November 16
Morning:
Beach walk
Gentle Yoga Flow
Optional ocean dip
Water break at home
11:00 AM – Holotropic Breathwork Session
1:00 PM – Free time for reading, journaling
3.00 PM Guided Yoga Nidra at the house
Beach walk, fire pit setup (optional)
5:30 PM – Sauna session
Evening:
Full Moon Meditation and Fire Pit Ceremony (affirmations, emotional release, and intention-setting) / essential oil workshop weather dependant
Optional: Movie night ("The Secret") or relaxation time

Day 3 – Sunday, November 17
Morning:
Slow morning meditation (with Full Moon affirmations and intention water)
10:00 AM – pack up and leave accommodation

1030 AM Beach Yoga and Swim
11:00 AM – Closing Circle
Education on breaking the fast and managing rebound hunger
Guidance on your post-fast journey and wellness reintroduction

Please reach out with any questions  - but here are a few commonly asked

Q: what are the benefits?

A:This list is long, and we will talk more about this on the first evening of the fast, but reduced inflammation, increased cognition, breaking down fats as an energy source (ketosis)... you have a renewed sense of clarity, and there are numerous studies that show the positive effect on chronic inflammatory conditions.

Autophagy - this can be stimulated with the 72 hour fast and is the body’s natural process of cellular renewal. Damaged and dysfunctional cells are removed or recycled in order to regenerate newer and healthier cells - 

Q: how long is the fast?

A: you can either start the fast on thursday after dinner and go through to sunday dinner (72 hour fast) or if you prefer you can fast from friday afternoon to sunday afternoon (48 hour fast)

Q: can we drink herbal teas? 

A: You can if you prefer to. They will be provided, and for some this is a comforting way to manage the fast - the herbal teas provided will be unsweetened (ie no friut teas) so they dont stilmulate your blood sugar in any way. Others may prefer to just drink water. You can also drink sparkling water - this will be provided for the evening, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer this through the fast. 

Q: Is it safe? 

A: fasting is a ancient healing practice that our bodies are able to undertake when supported going into and out of the fast. If you have any medical conditions or take any medication please call me to discuss further.

Q: what if I struggle?

A: As a registered nurse and a registered naturopath I will support you, and will bring some fat bombs (coconut oil and cacao) that wont spike the sugars, but can be used as a back up for those really struggling.  The biggest part is the mind, and when you are supported with friends it makes it much easier. 

Q: what do I need to do before the fast?

A: What you eat before the fast can make the fast much more enjoyable as you wont be thrown into a detox. The week leading up to a fast are crucial for ensuring you are able to manage the fast well.  Try including intermittent fasting the week into the fast.  It's also helpful to reduce your intake of heavy foods. Cutting out caffeine and alcohol a week prior while steering clear of processed items, will help your body make the most of the fast, enhancing benefits like autophagy and cell renewal. This way, you can have a more effective and fulfilling fasting experience. An email will be sent that explains this on booking.
