2026 Water Minister's Climate Innovation Challenge Award Ceremony

You are invited to the Award Ceremony for the 2026 Water Minister’s Climate Innovation Challenge on the 30th September. This hybrid event, available both in person and online via Microsoft Teams.

The seven shortlisted submissions will be pitching for funding from this year’s pool of $320,000 on 2 September.

Launched in July 2023 and administered by Intelligent Water Networks (IWN), the Water Minister’s Climate Innovation Challenge continues to foster innovation and collaboration across the Victorian water sector.

The Award Ceremony will recognise the remarkable efforts of these shortlisted teams, each working to advance innovative approaches to biosolids management. The finalists have demonstrated leadership in addressing key challenges across the biosolids lifecycle, including resource recovery, beneficial reuse, emissions reduction, sustainability, and improving the long-term resilience and efficiency of biosolids management practices.

We look forward to celebrating the achievements of these finalists and announcing the winners of the 2026 Challenge.
