Water Music - Sonatas for Cello and Piano by Chopin and Prokofiev

Cellist Chris Ferrer and pianist Cacie Miller started playing together in 2024. We realized (not for the first time) that life is short and that if we wanted to actually play pieces we've loved throughout our lives, it was time to start!

This show will be our first presentation of the Sonatas for Cello and Piano by Frederic Chopin and Sergei Prokofiev. It will also be the launch for celebrating the start of Chris's Illinois River Tour! He will head down to the River Walk following the show to set out on an exploration of American music along the Illinois River.

We enjoy programs that balance beloved sonatas with shorter lyrical pieces, and sharing our programs with audiences of all ages.
