Free Water Safety Session
Australia's beaches, rivers, lakes and rock platforms are beautiful places to enjoy, but they can also present unfamiliar risks.
Join us at Coogee Beach for a practical and interactive half-day water safety session designed specifically for established and newly arrived migrants and international students living, working and studying in the Randwick area.
Participants will learn how to:
Stay safe at the beach
Understand surf and rip currents
Build confidence regarding how to recognise hazards around inland waterways
Practice safe rock fishing
Make informed decisions to keep themselves and others safe
This culturally appropriate program provides practical knowledge and skills to help participants safely enjoy Australia's coastal and inland environments.
