Wings and Waterways: Introduction to water birds with John Gitsham

Join us for a morning of birdwatching as we explore the fascinating world of water birds at Goolwa Barrages. Led by bird expert John Gitsham, we will discover the diverse avian species that inhabit this unique location.

Following a brief introductory chat, we will embark on a guided walk along the barrages, known for its abundance of water birds. John will share his wealth of knowledge and expertise, offering insights into identification tips, best times to visit, and birdwatching best practice.

Everyone is welcome, from beginner to avid birdwatcher.
