Thursday, August 21st | 6 PM | Alta Peruvian Lawn | $5 | Sign-up Required
In this class, students will learn to use watercolor to create a simple plein air painting. The class will discuss plein air equipment for watercolor, and each student will work with a palette of 6 colors. I will discuss simple color mixing before we begin painting. All necessary equipment will be provided. You will leave with a painting of the beautiful mountains surrounding Alta.
Growing up, art was the one constant in Jan’s life. She attended college in California, Montana, and Idaho with a focus on art, specifically watercolor. Her focus in painting is to tell a story that brings the beauty of the natural landscape into your hearts. Jan’s art is informed by her love of nature and her desire to communicate this to others.
