Watercolour & Yin

Watercolour and Yin is a collaboration between Yin Tribe and Julia Reader Creates.

This workshop will see you in the new Yin Tribe studio where creativity, connection and calm will be offered through gentle guidance.

Included in your ticket is:

• A two-hour guided watercolour experience (all materials included)
• A sumptuous high tea of home-cooked delights
• A one-hour grounding yin yoga practice

This is a small-group workshop so places are very limited. The intention of this offering is likened to a warm hug - a place to connect (or re-connect) in a nurturing, wholesome and mindful space. It's an opportunity for rest and replenishment by activating our parasympathetic nervous system to create peace and calm.

About your hosts

Hi friends, I'm Julia, a a self-taught artist, graphic designer and textile designer based in the Limestone Coast of South Australia. I have a deep fascination with nature and it is here that I draws the greatest inspiration for my work. I love to teach watercolour with the aim to give as many people as possible a way to explore their creativity. Outside of my studio I am an avid adventurer, either by foot or road. My ideal place to be is amongst the trees or at the coast, ideally around a campfire with a hot drink in hand.

Hi, my name is Evonne, founder of Yin Tribe, a wholesome studio where we gather for healthful connection with others. My professional career has focused on caring for others, being a registered nurse, midwife and immuniser for over 25 years. More recently I have found yin yoga and massage as an opportunity to nurture people too, providing self-care in the form of rest and replenishment. My passion for connection with like minded people has seen the emergence of collaborations and retreats with a focus on connection, creativity and filling up your cup! When not in the studio I am amongst my family and friends enjoying food, cups of tea and activities that honour the value of nurturing myself and those I love.
