It's a wonderful gift idea for any mum who would like to explore her creative side and relax through artistic expression. These watercolour meditation classes offer a unique blend of mindfulness techniques to help you tune in with yourself, your breathing and your feelings and unwind from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Watercolour Meditation Series is an excellent mild introduction to watercolours. Each workshop adds a piece to understanding of this medium not only as a way to paint what you see, but also to paint how you feel or how you want to feel.

12 May – Watercolour and Line Meditation with Live Music - This painting meditation is an excellent introduction to watercolours. Accompanied with the soothing melodies of live steel pan drum music by Kate, Anastasia will guide you through this fantastic flow. It is an excellent practice that can become a foundation for your creative self-care practice. It can be practised at home for relaxation, shared with kids, or just enjoyed when you need some quiet recharging time. If you sometimes feel like painting, but but not sure what to paint, how to paint and where to start – this is an excellent technique to get you unstuck.

19 May – Watercolour Meditation and Creative Mandala - Ever looked at mandalas and thought – No, no, that’s too hard for me! How do they make it so perfect?! – The answer is – you don’t have to make it perfect! You just need to start and allow yourself make mistakes. With watercolour flow we will lay the foundation for our practice. We will refresh our knowledge of the colour wheel to create a vibrant background while checking in with our chakras through colour. This can give a you a deeper understanding of artist practice. Then you will get a choice of mandala stencils to start with and as your confidence grows, let your hands do the rest. You will be surprised by your results!

26 May – Flower Meadow - Watercolour Meditation with Live Music -With the happy tunes of Kate’s steel pan drum live music, we will create the watercolour magic of light together! This workshop will make you fall in love with watercolours! It is a perfect medium to create the sense of light in a painting due to transparent qualities of the pigments and the natural shine of paper, the water creates the sense of flow. In this session we will be creating our light, while transcending into a sunlit meadow of tall grass and flowers. In this meditative as well as educational practice, our watercolour artist Anastasia will guide you through the steps to create a stunning semi-abstract watercolour painting that will be unique and meaningful to you.

Join us for this balancing, enriching practice that will help you expand beyond your preconceived notions. Under Anastasia's guidance, you'll enjoy a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere where you can freely express yourself and let your creativity flow, without feeling pressured or judged. Allow the water to become your co-creator in crafting your own unique artworks. This practice can offer a multitude of benefits, such as clearing your mind, reducing stress, boosting your creativity and intuition.
