For the Fungi Feastival, Tipsy Frida is hosting a Watercolour Paint & Sip at Oaklands Café in Pambula

For this special event, you will be taught a crash course in watercolours, and then have local art teacher Ness there to support to create a unique mushroom field guide. A range of mushroom stencils will be available to trace, as well as advice for how to create effects suited to each mushroom, so that you can create an a4 page of several of your favourite fungi. You can see Tipsy Frida's instagram or facebook event to see examples of how the fungi field guide's will turn out!

Your ticket includes one drink or treat from the menu at Oaklands - you can access this by first finding the paint & sip teacher and showing your ticket, and she will give you a token to show the bar for your free treat.

Additional menu items can be bought separately :)

We will be painting either under the balcony or in our own room, and staff and signs will direct you on the day!

Fungi identification and ecology walk with Dr Sapphire McMullan-Fisher

9.30 - 11am Bega Valley

Join Dr Sapphire McMullan-Fisher on a fungi identification and ecology walk. Different fungi have different roles in ecosystems and most plants depend on mycorrhizal fungi, these can be seen in some of the colourful mushrooms and boletes.
