Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve Hike

Join us Saturday, December 9th for our Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve Hike! This stellar trail features a wide, gravel-paved path that passes small bodies of water and a waterfall. It is a long but easy trail.  Bring your hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers (you’ll need them), dress warm, pack water and a sandwich, invite some friends, and get ready to enjoy the outdoors. We’ll start the day at The Long Room. After the hike, we'll make our way to a local eatery for food and drinks before heading back home.

EVENT DETAILS:

• 10:00AM – Meet at The Long Room
• 10:30AM – Depart
• 12:30PM – Arrive at hike entrance
• 1:45PM – Snack break on the trail
• 3:30PM – Conclude hike head to a Local Eatery for food & drinks
• 6:00 PM - Depart back to The Long Room
