Corethics is proud to present Newcastle's 3rd Annual ReelOzind! #waterforbali Film Fundraiser. All proceeds to IDEP Foundation's Bali Water Protection Program addressing United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #6 clean water.

We are excited to be hosting a screening of ReelOzInd! Short Film Festival again this year thanks to the Australia Indonesia Centre. Join us in Gold Class at Event Cinemas Kotara for this unique and empowering cinema experience!

About ReelOzInd! Short Film Festival Screening

There is no other film festival that brings Australian and Indonesian filmmakers together to share their work and stories in the same forum. From documentary to fiction and animation, be amazed by the incredible rising Australian and Indonesian talent as they take on this year's theme Energi/Energy.

The film festival is also a competition with an esteemed panel of judges. For our guests, you can vote for your favourite films here.

The short 10-minute films are rated G/PG or M so school-aged children are welcome to attend too (run time 80 mins).

Our Cause

In 2016, Corethics discovered the harrowing reality that 60% of Bali’s water table was declared dried. Since then, the team at Corethics has been supporting IDEP’s Bali Water Protection Program to assist in addressing depleting water supplies - recharge wells and much-needed education.

We feel a deep sense of gratitude that we are fortunate enough to have clean running water available to us every day here in Australia. That is why we believe clean water should be available for our neighbours in Bali too.

Right now, as the world grapples with the COVID-19 pandemic it has never been more important to have access to clean running water.

Water Talk

Join us at 5.30 pm sharp as we discuss our cause and share with you our Partner's solutions. We will open up into a Q&A for those wanting to know more about our partnership with IDEP and the current situation in Bali during the COVID-19 pandemic. Coinciding with National Water Week (19-25 October) its a great time to immerse yourself in water education. Every ticket* includes a donation to help address water depletion in Bali, Indonesia - Terima Kasih banyak! Thank you so much!

This is a COVID-safe event. Guests may wear a mask (optional, not mandatory) and sanitize your hands upon entry and exit to the theatre. Please be patient to observe the 1.5m rule. Remember take care of one another by staying home if you are unwell, getting tested, and isolating.
