Watermelon Crawl
Event description
“I can guarantee that you’re gonna have a ball, learning how to do the watermelon crawl”
Join us on July 26th for an evening of Line Dancing!
Line Dancing Lesson from 7-8:30 by Copperhead Meg and Tori Tornado
The lesson will first focus on the Watermelon Crawl, the iconic line dance done to the tune of the same name, popularized by Tracy Byrd in 1994. The song is about the adventures of someone who pulls off the highway into a small town in Georgia having their annual watermelon festival. Read more about and see videos of the Watermelon Crawl here.
After the lesson, there will be open dancing!
Feel free to come early and picnic. Our farm store will be open during the whole event for picnicking needs, snacks, and beverages. TBD on whether we'll have a food truck here!
