Waters of Gondwana | Yarning Circle & Live Art
Event description
Waters of Gondwana: Yarning Circle and Live Art
Join us for stories of culture, care and ecology... Ever wondered where our water comes from? Get to know the Gold Coast connection to the waters that flow from the mountains, along Nerang river to the sea. Hear stories of cultural and natural wonders in a yarning where you're invited to get involved, ask questions, and explore the journey of water with us. Our guest speakers are closely connected to our water supply, including Traditional Owners, youth ambassadors, and people with intimate knowledge and personal experiences 'caring as Country'. As part of a small audience you're warmly invited to join in our yarn and live art experience, hosted by Gecko Environment Council as part of SWELL Waterlines.
