Description

Waterwise gardens that increase biodiversity.

Would you like a garden that uses less water and attracts more  native wildlife? This workshop will teach you how.

Shani from Ecoburbia, along with and special guests, will show you how to create a waterwise garden and share ways to increase biodiversity, improve wildlife habitat and reduce the urban heat effect. You’ll learn how to plant native species, and how to  plan a verge garden that meets City of South Perth guidelines.

The workshop will also cover encouraging wildlife (including how to make an insect hotel), as well as important topics such as stormwater management and bushfire preparedness.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have the tools and confidence to create your own piece of urban bushland at home.

This workshop is presented by Ecoburbia.
