Waterwise Gardens with Busselton Water @ Busselton Library
National Water Week with Busselton Water
During summer, more than half of the average Busselton household's drinking water is used outdoors, primarily on gardens.
With the effects of the 2023-24 El Niño, recent dry summers, and forecasts indicating another dry season ahead, there's never been a better time to learn how to create beautiful, waterwise gardens that make every drop count.
In this session, you'll hear from the Busselton Water team and Lisa Massey from GeoCatch, a valued partner of Busselton Water.
This workshop will focus on the importance of conserving and preserving our water, and will also explore different soil types, local native plants, and practical ways to reduce water use in the garden.
Date: Wednesday 21st October
Time: 10.30am - 12noon
Location: Busselton Library
