Waterwise Gardens Workshop
Event description
Learn how healthy soils act like a sponge to retain water and reduce garden irrigation needs.
This hands-on session explores the role of soil microbes in water retention, includes live microbe viewing, and demonstrates water infiltration and compaction tests.
Participants will discover simple ways to grow their garden’s microbial community - and save water.
A light morning tea will be provided.
