Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease Virus community meeting Wattle Flat
Event description
Join us at Wattle Flat for a Local Land Services community meeting on rabbit control. Learn practical control techniques, including the use of RHDV, hear the latest local updates, ask questions, and find out how you can help protect our local environment.
Event details:
Hosted by Central Tablelands Local Land Services, this community rabbit control meeting will cover the latest in rabbit management, including RHDV release opportunities and local control efforts.
What is RHDV?
Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) is a virus used to help control wild rabbit numbers. It spreads quickly and can cause sudden death in rabbits. It’s safe for people and other animals, but pet rabbits need protection through vaccination and good hygiene. Come along to learn how it works and what it means for our local area.
