Love borrowing? Love helping people? Come join our Front Desk team!

The Sydney Library of Things is looking for friendly, community-minded volunteers to join our Waverton Front Desk team at The Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability

Front Desk volunteers are the welcoming face of the Library - helping people borrow and return items, answering questions, checking equipment and keeping things running smoothly. You don’t need to know everything about our 300-ish items that people can borrow - we’ll show you the ropes!

The commitment is around 8 - 10 shifts a year on Saturday mornings from 8.30am-12pm, but we're happy if you want to volunteer more often. It’s a great way to meet people, learn new skills and be part of a friendly team that’s helping people borrow rather than buy.
