‘LET MY PEOPLE GO!’ A powerful message from God given to Moses and Aaron to deliver to the Pharaoh of Egypt.
Intermediate Phase staff and students are excited to perform the 2023 Primary school musical ‘Way Down in Egypt Land,’ written by Wayne Morton. They will take you on a journey through Egypt as we watch the Israelites became enslaved by the Egyptians and how God rescues them from the oppression of Pharaoh. Through this deliverance, God reveals His name—Yahweh—and gives His divine presence to His people.
You will be entertained by our strong line up of characters from the witty and vain Pharaoh, his beautiful Queen Nefertari, courageous young Israelite children Asher, Lia and their loyal friends and performances from each class as they join the chorus to bring this story to life.
