Waypoint: Volume 7 - The Revival

Get ready for an epic revival at Waypoint Volume 7! After an extended break to frolic in the sun, we have returned to bring back the good vibes and memories of last year and celebrate a new one!

✨ About this event

Waypoint is back! We're combining our albeit late end-of-year anniversary celebration with our start-of-year event at a new venue, where we're bringing back all the games and teams we had last year, along with some new ones to celebrate last year's end as we begin this new one! Waypoint is officially 3 years running since returning, so there's a lot to celebrate! 

Hosted by producer Ryan Penning and artists Eric Tahiri and Liezl Ronquillo, Waypoint is an opportunity for people working within the Sydney Games industry to build connections and discover new games and content being locally developed.

The event will be hosted in the private tavern area on the bottom floor of Fortress Sydney, which is helping host the event- with food and drinks available at the bar! It is around a 5-10 minute walk from Central Station.

We also have additional sponsorship from the Australian Screen Sound Guild who will be handing out limited drink tokens. To read up on the guild check out their website here.

To celebrate the two-year anniversary of Waypont we've created a special design that pays homage to Sydney's games industry featuring all the games we've curated and supported here as locally made games across events like Constellations and other Waypoint Events.

Shirts will be $34.99 and will only be available on the night and NEVER AGAIN. If you'd like to grab a shirt you'll need to get an invite and come along. These shirts are in extremely limited print. If you're at all interested, this will be the only time you'll ever be able to grab one.
