Light Electric Vehicles (LEVs) as enablers of business model innovation in urban transport of people and goods

LEVs can provide efficient solutions for the transport of goods and people in urban environments for existing businesses, but at the same time also can provide the basis for new and innovative new business models in areas of hyperlocal delivery and shared mobility.  

We are delighted to be joined by Wolfgang Roffmann and Harry Proskefalas of EMoS (e-Motion Concepts). EMoS is a Brisbane company founded in 2016, dedicated to LEVs for the transport of people and goods in urban environments. 

The presentation will explore some of these uses and provide an overview of commercial use of LEVs.

Wolfgang Roffmann is the co-founder and CTO. Wolfgang has a long history of working in technology driven early stage companies in medical devices, telecommunications and automotive industries.  Wolfgang has a degree in medical physics from Germany and a Masters degree in Technology and Innovation Management from the University of Queensland.

Harry Proskefalas is the co-founder and CEO. He brings a wealth of experience from more than 24 years in business including single/multi-site operations and franchise models from both a franchisee and franchisor perspective, senior corporate and local economic business development and government executive roles. Harry holds a Bachelor of Business and brings experience in developing core strategies and operational frameworks across a diverse range of industries.
