WBNA Concert in the Park featuring New Inca Sun
Event description
We’re closing out this year’s Concerts in the Park series with a spectacular performance by New Inca Son—an internationally acclaimed Andean folk ensemble that brings the rich sounds and dances of the Andes to life.
Praised as the “proud bearer of an indispensable cultural legacy” (Keith Lockhart, Boston Pops Conductor), New Inca Son has captivated audiences for more than 20 years on stages across the globe—from the FIFA World Cup and Olympic Games to the White House, the Kennedy Center, and the Smithsonian National Museums.
Hailing from the Andes regions of Peru and Bolivia, the group is on a mission to preserve indigenous heritage and inspire new generations. Their music invites everyone—young and old—to sing along, dance, and celebrate the vibrant traditions of the Andes.
