About the Night

Let's step away from the desks for a few hours. We’re hosting a relaxed, community-focused movie night to raise funds for a brilliant local cause, and we’d love for you to join us.

Expect a few laughs and a great crowd, all in the name of supporting kids who need a hand.

Who We’re Supporting: 12 Buckets

All proceeds from the night are going straight to 12 Buckets. 12 Buckets do incredible work locally, providing one-on-one mentorship and support for primary school kids who have fallen through the cracks. They are all about giving kids a fair go, building their confidence, and just showing up for them.

Why White Chalk Road is Sponsoring

We’ve been proudly operating right here in Perth for over 27 years, and for us at White Chalk Road, making a genuine impact in our own backyard is what it's all about. We are incredibly proud to sponsor this event because the mentorship and support 12 Buckets provides to local Perth kids is absolutely vital. Strong communities look out for each other, and this night is the perfect excuse to get good people in a room together to do exactly that, while sharing a laugh and a few slices of pizza.

The Film: Hunt for the Wilderpeople

We’re screening Taika Waititi’s Hunt for the Wilderpeople. If you haven't seen it, you are in for an absolute treat.

It’s a dry, clever, and very cheeky Kiwi comedy about Ricky Baker, a hip-hop-loving city kid in foster care, and Hec (Sam Neill), a grumpy bushman who becomes his reluctant guardian. Through a string of ridiculous misunderstandings, the two end up the targets of a national manhunt in the New Zealand wilderness. It’s hilarious, it refuses to take itself too seriously, and it’s got a massive heart. It perfectly fits the vibe of the night.
