W Dawn Memorial 2026
Description
WELCOME TO THE 2026 SEASON - JOIN US at THE W DAWN MEMORIAL
Let’s make this non-ranking event a FUN & FRIENDLY ICEBREAKER OCCASION!.
Depending on entry numbers in the different events we will use formats to try to maximise the amount of fencing for everyone,
The DT will decide about the format(s) when numbers of entries for each weapon are clearer, and if possible, will communicate to fencers before the day.
The objective for the day is to have fun!
Eligibility
You should be over 13 years old on the day of competition…. BUT… we will consider entries from those 11 and older with 1 year or more of Fencing experience..., entry only by agreement between a coach and the DT.
Please contact DT Fiona Campbell to ask at Fencingnorth.hot@gmail.com
FENCERS UNDER 14 YEARS OLD MUST ALWAYS BE WITH A PARENT OR GUARDIAN.

You can affiliate to Fencing New Zealand via the Sporty Portal HERE
Any questions re your FeNZ affiliation for this tournament should be directed to Fencing North Head of Tournaments
PLEASE NOTE: You will not be able to view the FeNZ affiliation number issued to you via Sporty at the moment, but as DT I can access this number via the FeNZ admin portal .
